Saturday 27th January and the first Chuldow Graduation of 2018. Zak Wilby of Rothwell and Arni Irvin of Morley took to the mats to show their Kickboxing skills before the panel of judges with the goal of achieving promotion to 1st Dan Black Belt. Meanwhile Joseph Stretton of Rothwell was pushing himself to the limit in the hopes of achieving promotion to 2nd Dan.
Following a gruelling examination where all three showed skill, determination and endurance each was successful and a gained well earned promotion, well done Kickboxers!
Sunday saw the Karateka take to the mats with Oliver Hardcastle, Finlay Rocks and Ashton Thomas of Rothwell, Emily Wilson of Thornhill, Tobias Hicking of Chapel Allerton and Nathan Padgett of Royston all attempting promotion to 1st Dan Black Belt.
The graduation progressed with the candidates being thoroughly put through their paces and demonstrating technical ability, determination and knowledge they were finally rewarded with promotion to Black Belt! Well done Karateka!
