“Welcome to Chuldow Martial Arts Academies, creating and growing Martial Arts practitioners throughout West Yorkshire for 25 years.

I established Chuldow in Wakefield in 1985, to fulfill a need locally for professional karate and kickboxing instruction, improving physical fitness and confidence whilst instilling important core values in each of our students – respect for others, self-discipline, determination, perseverance and camaraderie.

I’m very happy to report, some quarter of a century later, that our methods and instruction have produced great results. Hundreds (perhaps thousands) of men, women, boys and girls have gone onto greater success in their lives through the physical training and values we teach. Our teaching is constantly assessed and updated to ensure we keep abreast of the most successful training methods, and we provide Martial Arts instruction that’s second to none.

Nowadays, we have multiple Academies throughout West Yorkshire – we’ve come a long way since our single venue all those years ago. It is important to me that the growth of the business doesn’t dilute the Chuldow vision, or lessen the sense of camaraderie.

Each of our satellite academies upholds the same Chuldow core values and teaches the same physical, mental and spiritual knowledge and skills. Each has the same family-friendly, supportive atmosphere, and all share the same level of commitment to your individual development.

As Chuldow’s owner, it’s important for me that each of our Instructors represents Chuldow’s values to the highest level – each has proven their lifelong commitment to the Martial Arts and, more specifically, their utmost dedication to the core values we uphold at Chuldow Martial Arts Academies. Each of our staff has been hand-picked to ensure that they have the character, skills, and knowledge, to help you reach your physical, mental and spiritual goals.

As owner, I am proud to introduce you to our Team and our Instructors, each one an important member of the ‘Chuldow Family’, working to create better futures for each of our members.
